Food Processing

RFID can be completely automated and run in conjunction with existing WMS and Process systems already in house. This particular application is based on reading plastic trays filled with food products, and the role of the RFID technology was to simply control and manage the production process all the way through to the despatch area.

Multi Tag Reading

With the use of longer range RFID systems we can begin to start looking at tagging both pallets and case products within a logistics and distribution environment. UHF antennae allow us to read many tags at distance of 2-3 metres (typically). Our Hibiki (UHF) tagging solutions open up a whole new world for RFID. In this particular application we are tracking pallets on the move whilst on a fork lift truck.

Drill Pipe Management

RFID can be used in various demanding environments, and with our RFID solutions team we can design and develop appropriate solutions.

In this particular project we were asked to attach an RFID passive tag directly to metal drill pipes. The pipes are tracked using portable RFID readers within The yard area to ensure a full inventory of the asset is always up to date. The design of the tag was based on our world famous Mu RFID tag which was engineered to allow it to mount directly onto the surface of the drill pipe.
